Meet the Team

THE DCRI-PENN DCC

The Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) serves as the administrative and operational home for the Lung Transplant Consortium (LTC) Data Coordinating Center (DCC), partnering with the biorepository expertise and resources of the University of Pennsylvania (Penn). The DCRI-Penn DCC brings unparalleled clinical lung transplant subject matter expertise, longstanding prior experience coordinating multicenter research studies in lung transplantation, and operational rigor in research oversight and biosample collection.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

The DCRI-Penn DCC is led by the team of Drs. Palmer, Christie, and Neely who together bring considerable and complementary expertise in clinical and research aspects of lung transplant, human specimen banking and analysis, data and statistical methodology, and previous successful experience in the coordination of multicenter research in lung transplant and lung diseases. The leadership team will provide thought leadership and oversight for all aspects of the DCRI-Penn DCC, leading the development and implementation of the LTC common protocol and biorepository.
